Locked In

Gut-wrenching to its very core, Locked In is a multidisciplinary, physical performance that unravels the connection between our sensory and extrasensory experience of the physical world. Drawing inspiration from true stories, Ghost Boy by Martin Pistorius and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly by Jean-Dominique Bauby, the production follows a man with Locked-in syndrome. Scenes flicker between his harsh reality bound to a hospital bed, to the vibrant, technicolour realm of his mind. 

Adapted into an immersive experience just for BLEACH*, this riveting performance will take place in the middle of a room, with actors initiating contact with the audience.
