In exciting news for Gold Coast visitors and locals, Warner Bros. Movie World have extended the fabulous Hooray For Hollywood – an all new special event that’s set to become an annual celebration of movie magic at the much-loved theme park.
While the latest Covid lockdowns affected the plans of many holiday makers, the show must go on! So, Hooray For Hollywood has been extended until July 18th, 2021. That means you have an extra week to immerse yourself in this magical experience and trust us when we say it’s one you won’t want to miss.
LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!
Hooray For Hollywood is so much more than a parade (although that is the grand finale with grand being the operative word). There will be ample opportunities throughout the park during the day to meet and greet your favourite characters, heroes and villains.
Music, dance, colour and excitement all come together on Main Street with a delightful variety of performances on offer. As well as singing and dancing, you’ll see Austin Powers cruising around in his groovy Shaguar and meet the Mystery Inc. gang from Scooby Doo as they patrol the streets of Warner Bros. Movie World in their Mystery Machine.
HEROES, VILLAINS & CARTOON CHARACTERS
Watch the wide-eyed wonder as kids come face to face with characters they’ve only seen on the big screen before. We’re talking A-list celebrities like Bugs Bunny, Sylvester and Tweetie Bird, Batman and Robin, Super Girl, Wonder Woman, The Joker and Harley Quinn. Get caught up in the action as Penguin attempts a bank heist and Wonder Woman beats the baddies.
Just like all good movies, the action and entertainment just keeps coming! All this excitement culminates in Warner Bros. Movie World’s biggest parade yet at 4.30pm. Packed with glitz, glamour and fun, characters both old and new come alive in a jam packed celebration unlike anything you’ve seen before. You might be back the next day for an encore!
